Thrifty tip for this week:
With 2 small kids it’s hard to find time to get out and exercise. My youngest hates the gym’s child care and I’m only able to work out for maybe 5 minutes before they have to come get me.
I’m left having to find ways to work out at home. I just got the Wii Ea Sports Active. I’ll talk more about that in another post.
I recently found out there are some free ways to get great workout videos at home.
1. Download 15 of Jillian Michaels’ (The Biggest Loser) Mini-Workouts Free. Most likely for a limited time, The Exercise TV store is giving away free downloads of 15 of Jillian Michael’s Mini-Workouts. Go here to get yours.
2. Netflix – Free Online Videos
We have been using Netflix for a while and I love it. It’s so convenient and easy to manage. All plans have unlimited online videos. In addition to movies they mail to you, they also have a huge selection of online movies and videos you can watch. These include workout videos. There is no limit on how many of the free online videos you watch. It’s great! Plans start at only $4.99/month. You can get a free month with these promo codes.

3. Free Workout videos on your TV.
Do you get the FitTV channel? I know we get it on DirecTV (click here for more info on DirecTv and $100 coupon). Use your Tivo or DVR to record the workout shows.
If you have AT&T U-verse or other On Demand providers, look and see what exercise videos are available On Demand, for free.
